Dept of Commerce organised ‘An Awareness Program on Anti-Human Trafficking’ conducted by the NGO ‘The Freedom Project’. The Resource person was Mrs. Anita Kanaiya, CEO, India from ‘The Freedom Project.
The speaker ignited a spark in the minds of the B.Com students to ponder over the root causes for Human trafficking, Slavery, Beggary, Sexual Harassment etc. It was alarming to find that victims of Human trafficking were small children, girls, educated adults who live around in our vicinity. B.Com students were engrossed in the awareness session and had an interactive, knowledge sharing experience.
