With increasing cost of education, increasing number of students work while studying because of the family circumstances and other factors. Even though a student has potential to do well academically, he is unable to pay for his education. To fill this financial gap, Indian Academy Group of Institution has taken up an initiative to offer scholarships to those who are academically good but are unable to pay the fees. The offer is in the form of fee deduction in I PU up to 75 percent based on their performance in the scholarship test and in 10th Std. The team at Indian Academy has identified around 250 potential students this year who deserve the scholarship and on 13 April 2017, scholarships were launched in the presence of the Chairman, IAGI, Dr. T Somasekhar with the motto “Education for All”. The scholarships not only help students financially but also make them do well academically since it instills in them greater sense of belonging and motivation.
