
Before entering the plant everyone was instructed regarding the safety measures to be followed. Students were assisted by two in-house employees who explained the process and functioning of the plant. The following details were shown.
• Collection of sugar bags- making sugar syrups (purifying it with carbon)
• Preparing beverages
• Purifying the water (chlorination and UV radiation)
• Fermentation of the mixture (In tanks)
• Reuse of the COCA-COLA bottles ( cleaning up and reprinting)
• Controlling temperature to automate the entire process
• Quality control measures
The visit was an enriching experience for the students.
