Students were asked to prepare resume and submit the same to the department. This was followed by aptitude test on 7th October, 2016. Aptitude test consisted of questions on analytical skills, reasoning , reading comprehension and general knowledge were asked.
Results of the same were displayed and shortlisted students were allowed to participated in the Group Discussion which was held on 8th October, 2016. This activity was judged by in-house faculty on various parameters such as content, tone, creativity, communication, leadership qualities and body language. There were altogether 4 groups of 7 students and the topics for the GD were; should India go for war against Pakistan, Influence of social media on youngsters, are women better managers than men and Should there be changes in Indian education system.
From each group 3 to 4 students were selected for the Mock job interview. This was held on 17th October, 2016. We had the opportunity to call the HR executives from the corporate world. Mr. Ajay Kumar RH Head – Recruitment, Accenture and Mr. Sandeep, HR Manager, Trip Factory along with the Ms Panishree, Placement Director were the panel members for the Mock Job Interview. The candidates were told to give a copy of the resume to the panel members before taking the seat. Panel members then started shooting most frequently asked questions in the interview. All the participants actively took part in this and were a great learning experience for them. At the end Panel members gave some useful take aways from the session and areas of improvement. In all the entire session was a fruitful one.
