Indian Academy Pre-University College believes in connecting with parents because, besides the teachers and the student himself, parents play an important role in his academic progress. IAPUC organizes three PTMs in a year to address issues which hinder a student’s performance. The class teachers talk to the parents about students’ academic performance and behavior and parents voice their grievances to the teachers. The second such meeting was conducted on 13th December 2017 as a sequel to the first one to see whether students have registered any progress after the suggestions given to them on the first meeting. Principal also had a special meeting with the parents of the students who are irregular and have shortage of attendance. As an extension to the regular meeting, PTM for the CET students was also conducted at 2 p.m. and the mark sheets of all the tests were handed over to the parents. We thank all the parents for attending the meeting and for their involvement.
